Job Description : You will help define and drive the architecture of various Media Properties and design extensible and reusable tools to power the next generation experience for customers.

Desired : Strong hands-on experience with Web Technologies / Web Standards & Protocols, Languages (some of C / C++ / Java / Perl / Python / PHP), Methodologies (OOD)
Experience in Production Web systems characterized by high-end performance, reliability, availability, scalability, security.
Deep expertise in one or more of these fields is mandatory: Databases / Networking / OS / Distributed Computing / Web Services.

Education & Experience : MS / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent with 14+ years experience of which 8+ years will be in Large Scale architectures.
Role : Engineering Manager

Job Description : You will own the delivery of applications and tools to power the next generation experience for consumers on Yahoo!’s Media Properties.

Desired : Strong knowledge of Web Technologies, Web Standards & Protocols, Languages (some of C / C++ / Java / Perl / Python / PHP), Methodologies (OOD)
Experience in Production Web systems characterized by high-end performance, reliability, availability, scalability, security.
Your job will entail hiring, training, developing and motivating one or more development teams.

Education & Experience: BE / BTech / MS / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years experience of which 4+ years will be in building and leading teams and developing complex software.
Role : Tech Leads

Desired : Experience in designing high performance, scalable middleware and server side components and frameworks
Strong hands-on experience with technologies that power the Web, Web Standards & protocols, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Unix, XML, REST / SOAP, Network Programming, Languages, Methodologies (OOD).

Education & Experience: BE / BTech / MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years experience

Skills:
Strong command of CSS, HTML / XHTML, XML / XSLT, DOM methods and properties, AJAX, Javascript, Interactive Design Principles, Cross-browser Development, and Browser Degradation Strategies.
Demonstrable skills in successful application of good Interactive Design Principles.
Passion for delivering great user interfaces.
Quick and eager learner who stays on top of Internet technologies in related space.
Ability to collaborate in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Highly desirable: Backend Technologies such as PHP / Perl, Agile / XP Methods, Unix / Linux platforms, Source Code Control (CVS or alike)
