Tools expertise : 
-> Working experience with QTP/ Winrunner /Rational Robo / Rational  Robot / Rational Functional Testing (RFT).
-> Experience in writing UDF(user defined functions) for any of the above tools
-> Good knowledge in TSL, SQA basic (test scripting languages,  Mere scripting and playback experience would not suffice)
-> Should have worked in at least 3 Automation testing projects.
-> Should have thorough knowledge of Test Life cycle, Test plan creation and review.
-> Strong exposure to testing methodologies.
-> Experience in effort estimation for Test case writing and Execution.
-> Exposure to defect tracking tools.
