Job Description
-> Understand the product functionality.
-> Identify code impact and create detailed design document based on high level design document.
-> Participate in high level design document discussions and gain understanding.( Senior resource with good telecom exposure can prepare high level design as well ).
-> Coding based on detailed technical design inline with quality standards.
-> Preparing JUnit test cases and measuring the code coverage.
-> Resolving issues raised by Component System test and Product System test.
-> Coding in Java/J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB)
-> Using Struts framework for Webtier functionality.
-> Working knowledge on Weblogic, ant.
-> Prepare case/sequence diagrams using tools like Rose/Poseidon/Visual Paradigm. (Optional)
-> Willing to do analysis/quality coding.
-> Prepare quality design documents.
-> Build subject matter expertise and take ownership of issues raised in that area.

Desired Profile
-> Candidate would be responsible for verifying the process compliance and assessing the quality of the product developed for multiple software development projects for various Business Units.
-> He/She will be involved in the entire cycle of the projects through reviews of deliverables.

Java Professionals
Position : Assistant Tech Lead / Tech Lead / Sr. Tech Lead
Experience : 5.6 – 8 years
Skills :
-> Broad knowledge of multiple technologies, including but not limited to, Third and Fourth Generation Languages, distributed transaction-processing, middleware, rules engines, workflow, network communication and database design
-> Is familiar with Patterns concepts and Architectural concepts
-> Understands, and can articulate to others, baseline enterprise software requirements (I18N, Logging, Upgrade, API design and lifecycle, scalability, and performance)
-> Makes effective and informed technical decisions in a timely fashion and does not over-analyze problems
-> Working knowledge of the following skills: EJB, RMI, XML, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, JDBC, web technologies such as JSP servlets and Apache Tomcat
-> Proven ability to present to and interact with customers, displaying confidence and the expertise to make product decisions, to develop project plans, and to meet project deadlines
-> Capacities to build group consensus while acting as a leader and team player
-> Effective written and verbal communication skills essential

-> Identifies and works effectively with key stakeholders on complex cross-functional team or work group projects or problems
