Experience : 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
Skills :
-> VB.Net, VB, SQL, XML, ADO. Net, knowledge of remoting.
-> Development experience in windows based desktop applications is a must ( Experience in web applications is not preferred )
-> Must be a self-starter with good problem solving skills and should be a good ‘team player’.
-> Candidates should have excellent communication skills.
-> Good command over spoken and written English is desired.
Job Description :
-> Development of functional specifications and prototypes prior to implementation.
-> Ensure functional specifications and prototypes are reviewed by engineering, customer support, training, and selected customers to validate requirements prior to implementation.
-> Assist with the high level planning as needed for project releases.
-> Work independently to resolve issues most of the time.
-> Ensure code is written in a mature fashion meaning it is fully commented, optimized, maintainable, and free of critical defects.
-> Demonstrate ability to assist junior engineers and new hires in coming up to speed on standard procedures and technical issues.
-> Assist senior engineers with the development and presentation of training packages to technical support, training, and sales for new product releases.
