Effigent is a company located just a mile from the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, USA. You may have heard of Apple – they make iPods and iMacs.
We have development centers in Hyd (5 years old) and have recently started one in Bangalore.We will have 40 people in Bangalore by end of January and with the stream of projects coming in, we expect to expand further in 2007.

JAVA/J2EE Senior Programmers
Experience: 2+ years
Skills:
Java/J2EE and Good to have knowledge of Tapestry and Hibernate.
Should have the fire to learn new technologies.
Must have strong programming fundamentals and good communication skills.

JAVA/J2EE Team Leads
Experience: 4+ years
Skills:
Java/J2EE and strong knowledge of Tapestry and Hibernate. Must have leadership skills and very good communication.

Database Developers
Experience: 2+ years
Skills:
RDBMS fundamentals, SQL, working knowledge of Oracle (architecture, PL/SQL etc)
Desired:
OCA certication, Knowledge of data migration/ETL, knowledge of unix shell scripting.
Job Description:
Understand the requirements and come up with a Database design using RDBMS concepts.
Understand the DB schema of legacy systems and come up with a mapping to the target DB schema.
Using Business Objects Data Integrator to design and implement ETL logic for migrating data from source to target.
Working with Oracle and Sybase as the target databases.
Writing unix shell scrips for data migration.
